The Panama Canal - A Feat of Engineering

I have long since thought that the Panama Canal is one of the best gifts America has given to the world. But after the Suez Canal, I hadn't really realized what it entailed. I thought it was just another narrow river. Little did I know that it was like a staircase for boats that takes an entire day to cross.

Our time in Colombia was limited, and I spent most of it on the internet, for which I have absolutely no regrets, so this is all I've got...

The beaches were positively amazing. A storm started off in the distance, and the cloud formations were incredible. There was lightening too, but I didn't catch it.
