Sights in the City

This is what I saw as soon as I got off the boat.

Me by the bridge to Old Town.

My new ktten friends at a cafe in downtown.

One of the city squares, a place I could have stayed for hours.

Many, Many Mosques

There were mosques everywhere, and each one looked like Prince Charming's castle. Here is me in front of the Blue Mosque.

These two photos were taken inside the Blue Mosque, so named for all of the blue tiles on the inside.

This is the Ayasofya. It was originally built as a Catholic church, and was later turned into a mosque. Now it has been restored on the inside to the original Catholic art, tile work and symbols. But, I couldn't afford the admission charge so I only have pictures of the outside.

Yummy!!

Mmmmm...meat...nuf said.

Rooftop Entertainment

Dinner on the rooftop was an amazing experience. The air was warm, the wine was fine, and the musicians were festive. Everyone sang along to the tunes, and we got a real taste of Turkey.

Mountain of Spice

There are few things that I love more than a fully equipped spice rack, so this market was pasitively heavenly for me.
