The Panama Canal - A Feat of Engineering

I have long since thought that the Panama Canal is one of the best gifts America has given to the world. But after the Suez Canal, I hadn't really realized what it entailed. I thought it was just another narrow river. Little did I know that it was like a staircase for boats that takes an entire day to cross.
